The IEA Clean Coal Centre and the Instituto de Carboquímica (ICB), Zaragoza, on behalf of the Grupo Español del Carbón, are delighted to invite you to the Fifth International Conference on Clean Coal Technologies – CCT2011.

The world is facing a major challenge to meet future energy supplies. With global energy demand projected to rise by up to 55% by 2030, fossil fuels will continue to hold a dominant share of in the world’s energy mix. And the demand for coal could rise by 70% in absolute terms by 2030.The latest technologies for the clean use of coal will help to meet the challenges of our energy future.

The CCT conference in Zaragoza will include:
– clean coal technologies
– developments in carbon capture
– zero emissions technologies
– utilisation of low grade coals.

The conference will also provide an excellent international networking opportunity.

IEA Clean Coal Centre maintains a number of databases on all aspects of clean coal technologies and their use. These are available from this website, some on a free to view basis and others on a subscription basis.
