A delegation from China of fifteen senior people from government, academia and industry visited IEA CCC in September as part of a study tour to learn about large-scale cofiring of biomass in European coal-fired power plants. John Topper and Geoff Morrison explained the work of IEA CCC and Andrew Minchener escorted the group on visits to UK power plants with recent experience of cofiring biomass.
