With the kind cooperation and help of the Cardiff University School of Engineering (http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/engin/), the Clean Coal Centre is organising a workshop on cofiring to be held on Tuesday, 2 September 2008 at Cardiff University in the Aberconway Building. This event will take place on the day before the 7th European Conference on Research and its Applications (http://www.coalresearchforum.org/eccria2008progreg.pdf) to be held at the same venue from the 3rd to the 5th of September.

The workshop is free of charge to all attendees and those wishing to attend should contact Robert Davidson by email: robert@iea-coal.org.uk to ensure that they can get lunch! Speakers at the workshop will be Bill Livingston from Doosan Babcock; Bill Nimmo from Leeds University; Richard Sakurovs from CSIRO Energy Technology, Australia; Julian Steer from Cardiff University; and Fraser Wigley from Imperial College, London.
