Colin Nathan, inspirational Company Secretary of the IEA Clean Coal Centre for 27 years from 1985-2012 died on Saturday 2 January in Spain, where he had moved with his wife following his retirement in 2012. He had endured a long period of ill health.
Colin formed strong friendships everywhere he went and commanded great loyalty. He had great humanity and empathy, and understood that life could occasionally get in the way of work.
